Funds in Hard to Reach Places: Why, What & How

Tuesday, June 23
9 am PT | 11 am CT | 12 pm ET (90 minutes)

Summer is upon us, and we’re excited to share that we’ll be kicking off our summer series for you with Funds in Hard to Reach Places: Why, what and How. Why the funding landscape is changing, what that implies for our professions and for equity in the sector, and how we can organize for collective impact.
For this first session in June, we’ll be diving into how the funding landscape has been changing in the U.S. using DAFs as a diagnostic lens to map hard to reach funding sources. This has serious implications for our profession and for equity in our sector as organizations with less resources scramble to adjust to the new funding landscape. Along with discussing ways to reach those funds, we’ll be discussing actions we can take as a community leveraging our expertise and voices as grant professionals.

This session will be facilitated by Patrice Shumate, MTGW organizer.
